What We Collect

AI-Buzz collects minimal data to operate the site and improve your experience:

  • Newsletter email addresses — when you voluntarily subscribe to our weekly newsletter.
  • Analytics data — page views, referral sources, and search queries via Google Analytics (GA4). This data is aggregated and not tied to individual identities.
  • Standard web logs — IP addresses, browser type, and timestamps, as automatically recorded by our hosting provider (Vercel).

How We Use Your Data

  • Newsletter emails are used solely to send our weekly AI intelligence report.
  • Analytics data helps us understand which pages and features are most useful.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and Tracking

AI-Buzz uses Google Analytics (GA4) which sets cookies to measure site usage. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data Sources

Company data displayed on AI-Buzz is aggregated from public sources including npm, PyPI, GitHub, Hacker News, and Crunchbase. This data is factual and publicly available. For details on our data collection methodology, see our Methodology page.

Your Rights

  • You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in each email.
  • You can request deletion of your email address by contacting us.
  • You can opt out of analytics tracking using browser settings or extensions.

Data Retention

Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default settings (14 months). Web server logs are retained by Vercel according to their data retention policy.

  • Neon — database hosting
