AI-Buzz tracks developer community signals that no other platform publishes. Every metric is sourced from public data, updated daily, and available via API.
AI-Buzz is the only platform that publishes a numeric developer sentiment score per AI company, derived from automated analysis of Hacker News discussions. Each score includes the sample size and confidence level so you can assess reliability. No other database converts community discussion into a comparable, per-company sentiment metric.
The Developer Momentum Index is a composite score (0-100) combining developer adoption (npm/PyPI downloads), community signals (Hacker News mentions and sentiment), GitHub activity (stars, commits, contributors), and search demand. Every company receives a rank, updated daily. The methodology is fully documented and the weights are public.
AI-Buzz has collected daily metric snapshots since January 2024, building a historical dataset that cannot be replicated by a new entrant. This depth powers trend analysis, month-over-month comparisons, and the ability to see how developer adoption evolved over time for any tracked company.
The database covers 262+ independent AI companies across 16 categories, from frontier model providers to developer tools, infrastructure, and vertical applications. Each company profile aggregates signals from npm, PyPI, GitHub, Hacker News, Docker Hub, Hugging Face, and Stack Overflow.
All data is available through a public API, CSV exports, and structured JSON-LD on every page. Company profiles include a markdown endpoint optimized for programmatic consumption.
